Heres the situation:
I made a pretty simple animations using the Source SDK faceposer, it was the animation with the Classic Zombie banging on some kind of wall or window. I saved it, put it in my garrysmod scenes folder and used NPC Scene to play the animation on a classic zombie. The only problem is that it didn't work!
Any suggestions to get this to work would be appreciated...
I'm guessing its because Garrys Mod mainly depends on HL:2 where as the animation is from HL:2 episode one or something? I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not though...

Hmm, does it work on any characters? The NPC has to have the animation you are trying to apply so maybe try it on a bunch of different ones to see if it actually works at all on anybody.

Also, open the console after you try the animation and see if any errors are showing.

Finally maybe just try using the console command to run the animation to see if it is maybe an issue with the NPC Scene tool you are using.

ent_fire !picker setexpressionoverride scenes/nameofvcd.vcd

You will need to be the server to run that command I think though.

Those are just some ideas for troubleshooting since I am not sure what is going on for sure.
