This scene was created in Garry's Mod for my upcoming film and is centered around the 7-Hour War in Half Life 2. It follows two ordinary people, Mike Carter and his wife Miranda as they try to survive the Combine attack! I intend to add a gunship or strider following them in the final scene of this to add more action, but this was just mean to be a simple test. I was created by filming the car and the people on a greenscreen map in Gmod, and then placed on another video of the background coastline. On the Hl2 coast map, I used Catmull-Rom Cinematic Cameras to film the road, which worked out very well and looked very realistic. Then, I joined the two videos together in Adobe After Effects, as well as a VideoCopilot grading effect to make the clip look more film like.
